Only about one-third of the funding for the Spartan Music Program is covered by student fees. Fundraising covers the majority of the cost to keep fees low for all families.
These vital funds support all BHS Spartan Music programs (Marching, Guard, Concert, Jazz and Show Choir) by paying for staff, new equipment, maintenance, transportation, music, and student scholarships. Without these efforts, program quality would suffer.

Raise Right is one of the booster club’s year-round fundraising efforts. Buy gift cards at full value, and for a small fee, the band will get a percentage. Electronic and physical cards are available for over 750 different brands, including restaurants, retail stores, grocery stores, hotels, airlines, online vendors, and more.

This crowd favorite fundraiser is scheduled before the Easter holiday. Our Music Program regularly sells over $1,500 in sales from these sales.

Instructions For Kroger Community Rewards Supporters:
All supporters must have a registered Kroger Plus card account online to be able to link their card to an organization, and must swipe King Soopers card when shopping.
PopCorn Sales
Double Good popcorn has fantastic flavors and variety packs. Our online pop-up sale only lasts a few days and all products are sent directly to the purchaser. We regularly earn $2,000 in sales from this fundraiser.

2. Once approved by the Booster Board, a Thompson School District R2-J Activity Project/Fund Raising Approval Form MUST BE FILLED-OUT and SUBMITTED TO THE ATHLETICS/ACTIVITIES OFFICE for review and possible approval.
3. Once approved, the Board will review if fundraiser requires insurance coverage.
