Winter Guard

Winter guard is the indoor, competitive version of color guard that performs choreographed routines with flags, sabers, and mock rifles to recorded music. It's the standalone version separate from a marching band. It's a sport that combines dance, athletics, and artistic expression, and its competitive season typically runs from late winter through spring. Winter Guard is perfect for those with gymnastics, dance and cheer backgrounds.

Our Winter Guard team will start open practices in December 2025. These open practices will allow anyone interested in joining the team to learn how to spin flags, basic dance steps and more. There will be additional information to follow as the winter season gets closer. We will be needing chaperones, prop crew helpers, and snacks to be provided on competition days. We will be scheduling a parent meeting for Winter Guard in the near future.
